Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass light brown, small head. Starts fine malty, modest fruity, not too dry. Finish mild, almost a bit washy, but quite drinkable. Nice.

On tap @ Dyvekes, Bergen. A deep mahogany-brown beer with a creamy lasting head that's really lacing down the glass. A bit low on the aroma, sweet caramel tones with a hint of red currants. Soft and gentle on the palate. Not directly watery, but a bit thin mouthfeel perhaps. Nice flavors. Really light drinkable with both chocolate and cocoa tones before it ends in a quite distinct nutty-finish. Perhaps a bit on the sweet side, but still for me, a good session beer that I could drink lots of. *edit: Oh, it's perhaps a bit strong for a great session beer... 18.02.2012

33 cl. bottle at Café Bankeråt, Copenhagen. Clear amber colour with a small white head. Aroma is sweet malts, weak hops and brown sugar. Medium sweetness, oliy texture, and a disapponting thin body. Short, metallic finish. Ale no. 16 used to be better, this tastes industrial and is not craftmanship.
