The Surfers Ale is a tasty, naturally cloudy pale ale (light, top-fermented beer) with fruity notes of grapefruit, tangerine and lychee. It has a full-bodied body with a pleasant but not too strong bitterness on the finish. That is why it reminds a little of a naturally cloudy beer and impresses with its high 'drinkability'.

At a tasting, thanks, no head, cloudy palish orange color, fruity hoppy aroma with some herbal piney flavor with some peach and apricot, and a pleasant hint of vanila, light to medium herbal bitterness. Nice.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Tom L’s place. Thanks zvsn. Yellow. Aroma of slightly skunky hops, a bit of grains. Flavor has slightly sweetish graininess, and bitterish floral hops. Light to medium-bodied.

0,33 l bottle. Pours out unclear golden with a small white head. Floral hop with some citrus on the nose. Taste starts with a mid bitterness, some floral hop, citrus sweetness and hints of honey. Increasing malt in the middle part and less bitterness. Caramell with low bitterness in the aftertaste. Easy to drink.
