Draft. A red-brown beer with a lazing tan head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt and alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, bread, caramel, and alcohol, leading to a dry roasted finish. I can’t find the oak notes.

Copenhagen Beer Festival, May 2012. Black with a small tan head. Aroma of chocolate and licorice with a touch of oak. Sweetish malty flavour with chocolate and licorice, along with some oak and tannin to bring better balance to the beer than the other vinterporter versions.

On tap. Pours a dark brown with an orange hue and a small beige head. Subtle sweet roast in the nose completely overpowered by heavy, sweet vanillaish oak. Rich body of sweet roast, burned caramel and raisins - and then the heavy oak comes rushing in. 100512
