Bottle, 5%. OK malty aroma, some bread, hint of aroma hops. Clear yellow colour, OK stable white head. The flavour is mildly malty, hint of grain in the finish. Sweeter and slightly maltier than a pale lager, but not quite a Märzen IMO.

Bottle. Courtesy Bo and Maiken. Frothy white fair mostly deminishing. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Light bitter flavor. Short light bitter finish. Watery palate. not a good märzen.

33cl can. Pours clear & pale yellow with a large lasting foam. Nose is hayish malty. Taste has lots of grain - a bit watery. Vegetable notes. Dry end!

Can found on some random Austrian gas station. Said 150 anniversary edition, but I’m positive it’s this one. Sourish appley aroma with some weak maltiness. The taste is bread fighting with apples. Sourish. A biting feeling from the carbonation and maybe from the herbal-vegetabley hops that also form a light aftertaste. The body is kinda weak. Does some things right but fails overall.

bottle. Clear strawy yellow, medium-size head. Grainy, slightly malty and hopy, a bit watery, though. Not bad, but slightly boring.

Bottle: Poured a clear golden color with a thick lacy white head. Aroma is harvest and grain. Flavor is a soft metallic water with some grain.

01/01 0.33 l can from Spar in Semriach. This Zipfer poured light golden body with bigger head (wow, finally a head from this brewer) that gone down pretty fast. Pleasant flowery aroma, malty. Flavor quite bland for that scent, not thin bodied, but tasteless. Finish very short and watery. Nothing offensive and could be refreshing but that’s all this beer has to offer.

(33 cl can, purchased in Austria) Clear straw yelllow color, white head. Sweet vegetable scent. Sweet vegetable a bit harsh taste. Spritzy and thin mouthfeel. Sweet stale aftertaste. Low bitterness.

Can (BB 03/2008)
Golden color, small white head. Light papery and grainy aroma with sweet notes. A bit fizzy and watery. Some sweet malts and alcohol - that’s it. Boring and not really a märzen.

Canned. Golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is slight salts and malts along with some bittering hops. Flavour is pretty much the same. Aftertaste is quite bitter. Oily palate.
