Bottle 50 cl. Pours an almost clear golden with a lacing, white head. Clean malt aroma. Medium body, lightly sweet, clean malts with sufficient balancing hops. But Märzen? More of a Dortmunder to me. 160126

Crisp, malty and sweetish with some breadiness and earthiness. Easy going.

Bottle. Well, the German marzen beers are lighter than American ones. Also, they taste more like they were brewed in the middle of a hay field. Not really bad just nothin great.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is grainy malt with straw, noble hop, herbal hop. Flavour is a bit sweeter than I like with a light to moderate bitterness. Medium body. Fine grainy and hoppy aroma, would have liked more dryness.

0.5 l bottle from 'Beyond Beer', best before January 2025. Clear, golden with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, slightly malty and a bit floral aroma of grains and some straw. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, a little grassy taste of grains, some straw and hints of iron, followed by a short, moderately bitter finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Average lager, not that great.

Bottle shared by Caesar. Clear pale golden color, small white head. Aroma and flavor are malts, a bit dusty, decently bitter. Okay, but less refreshing than I'd expected.
