Donkerbruin bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is bitter en licht zoet met iets van bessen, chocolade en pruimen. Aparte smaak maar niet onaardig.

Pours black with some dark ruby tinges, along with a fading off-white head.Nose shows cherries, strawberries, raspberries, roasted malt, bready notes and chocolate.Flavours include more roasted malt and strawberries, some raspberry notes, a hint of cocoa in the finish. Perhaps a bit weak towards the end.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up at Oddbins Pimlico. Pours deep red-brown, burgundy-like, with a modest, foamy beige head. Nicely rounded, pleasant light bitter baking cocoa, some rich berries, raspberry, cherry, some earth, milk chocolate. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation, some velvety texture. Balanced finish, more ripe and leathery berries, bitter cocoa, some well roasted malts, earth. Solid. Very enjoyable.

Bottle shared on train between London Marylebone and Buckinghamshire with Colin, OGJ, and EE on trip to 22 southern counties. Dark. Brown head. Aroma and taste of chrries, figs and dark malt. Rereshing and dry.

Bottle on the train home, 68010, from Oddbins Baker Street 07/01/19. Black with a decent tan covering. Nose is dried fruits, blackcurrant jam, chocolate, mellow roast, light spice. Taste comprises red berry fruits, chocolate, jammy fruits, cocoa sprinkle, mellow roast. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with a tangy fruit edge. Not bad.
