Light golden coloured body with a very thin, off-white head, only a centimetre tall. Aroma of grassy and very herbal hops with some light sweetness noticeable as well. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong grassy and herbal flavours at first with some mellow malts noticeable along with a bit of a citrusey and resinous kick near the end, all still relatively easy-to-drink. Aftertaste shows some herbs, a bit of perfumey notes and a smooth light hop character that is relatively well-balanced by the malt. Overall, a good APA with some nice characteristics, but nothing mind-blowing or worth searching out. Nice to sample, but I wouldn’t try it again. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Total Beverage in Thornton, Colorado a few hours earlier on 04-June-2017 for US$2,77 sampled in my hotel room in Fort Collins, Colorado on 04-June-2017.

Pour is a hazy golden with a large white head. Aroma is a big blast of citrus hops. Lots of mango and pineapple. Flavor is again lots of fruit hops. More mango and pineapple with maybe some guava. After the swallow nothing is left on the tongue. This pale ale is more hoppy than probably 60% of the IPA’s I have had recently. Nice stuff and at only 5.2% this is something you could have a lot of and not get tired of.

Draught at Canary Square, 1/22/17.
Lightly to minimally hazy, brassy-golden with a small but firm white head atop.
Very fruity, bright, juicy, very-free-of-resin nose is actually quite surprisingly rich and hoppy for its size. Nectarine, mango, yellow apples, lots of woody, green character. Pleasant maltiness, as well, adding a hint of caramel atop light honey and white bread. Clean and with no alcohol.
In the mouth it’s lightly juicy and shows good interplay between malt sweetness and hop bitterness, both pushing each other and yet balancing in the end. Good attenuation and engaging carbonation with woody, herbal and leafy green vegetal notes on the finish. Very lovely stuff.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 7/1/2016. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy medium golden yellow color with a 2 finger dense and rocky white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, lemon zest, orange peel, mango, light pine, light honey, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/tropical/pine hops and moderate bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, lemon zest, orange peel, mango, pine, light honey, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate pine/herbal/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, lemon/orange peel, pine, bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/tropical/pine hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero astringent hop flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from bitterness, increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately sticky, and fairly grainy balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.2%. Overall this is a very nice standard pale ale. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/tropical/pine hops and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Pours gold into a shaker. Bright white head with good retention recedes leaving spider lacing to coat surface. Tropical fruit aromas. Dry with sweet mango upfront turning to dry pith and back to mild marshmallow in the lasting finish.
