Bottle from Sainsbury's. Pours clear golden with a short-lived thin white head. Light citrus and caramel aromas. Taste is more of the same. Thin finish. Not a right lot going on.

Gulbrun klar med fingerhøyt hvitt skum. Lukter aprikos, tørket frukt og lett av trevirke. Smaker lett bitter brent karamell, sitrus og lett karamell.

Okay creamy white head that's going away just as fast as I type this. Has a clear brown body and lots of carbonation. Smells of heaps of tin and nothing else. Flavour is soft malts on a watery mouthfeel. This is like a bad brown ale, which makes it an even worse IPA. Yes, it's that bad.

Bottle at home picked up from Watford Sainsburys. A clear amber toffee coloured pour with a lasting loose off white head. Aroma is sweet butterscotch, toffee. Vanilla, hint of pine. Flavour is composed toffee, burnt pine, toasted malts. Little chewy toffee and pine. Palate is semi sweet sticky, moderate carbonation. Passable.

Bottle from Sainsbury and drunk at home. Clear amber colour lasting cream head. Sherbet lemon hop aroma. Grapefruit . OK in mouth. Some sweetish candy malt. Some decent hop on the finish. It's a decent apa rather than an ipa. Drinkable enough malt and sherbet hop apa.

50cl bottle from Sainsburys, Bracknell. A bright amber pour with a fast fading white head; light citrus aroma; gentle citrus taste with some caramel; and a gentle bitterness to finish. A step forward for Sainsbury's own label beers, but this isn't going to take the average craft beer drinker by storm.

500ml bottle; BB 11th May 2019. Poured into an Abbot Ale glass tankard at home on 26th July 2018. Rustic golden body, neat white head. Decent aroma and taste of malts and light citrus notes. Not enough hops for 'a typical American IPA' if there is such a thing? Anyway, I liked it.

500ml bottle. Pours dark gold with a small head. Aroma is stony hoppy citrus. Taste has a minerally caramel start and a citrus finish.

Off white bubbly head stayed on a slowly carbonating amber body. Malt, tea, spice & light citrus aroma. Medium bodied, sharp on the palate with a clean back. Mild hoppy tastes with tea, malt & spicy fruit with a nice tangy finish.
