Thanks Mladen! You gotta love how a beer that makes a point of calling itself "amber" most definitely isn’t. Light golden body, not much of a head. Fresh, slightly honeyish papery aroma, light. Light, weak, empty honeyish taste. Lean, weak, OK.

Austrian Amber Ale 5.4% is perhaps a dash darker orange-gold than the Wienerlager with a more substantial foamy head. The aroma is quite nice - caramel and a citrusy hop bouquet. The taste is crisp on a medium body with a bitter finish but quite a clean flavor.

Tap at Craft Bier Fest Wien. Aroma loads and loads of diacetyl, not much more. Clear orange colour. Taste is loads of diacetyl, some hops, but unfortunately they never get to shine through the diacetyl. Bad.

Bottle shared at a tasting at kerenmk’s place. Thanks mom & dad for this bottle! Hazy amber with an off-white head. Hoppy aroma, citric, slightly stale, with yeast. Flavor has some sweetish malt, a light caramel hint, citric hops and some yeast and a nice bitter finish. Medium-bodied. Decent.

Bottle at Liseberg, Gothenburg. Hazy bronze with a quickly dissipating two finger white head. Aroma is fairly hoppy with pine and grass, a moderate malty tone of caramell. Taste is about the same, a fairly good grassy hop profile with zest, oranges, backed up by a light sweeter malt figure. Minerals and yeast, slight wattery. Ends rather dry, with a lingering bitterness. Medium body, soft to medium carbo. Quite good, thirst quenching.
