In celebration of Mexican heritage and the Cinco de Mayo holiday, this pale ale showcases Neomaxicanus hop HBC 472 which brings an earthy note. Fresh lime zest and habanero chillies adds a refreshing, zesty lift and sweet, mild spice from the recognisable Mexican flavours.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up at Clapton Craft. Pours hazy orange-gold with a frothy, white head. Fun beer, has some nice zesty lime, moderate bread sweetness, notes of vanilla, definitely some spicy habanero kick (but it's not overly aggressive). Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with more bready malts, lingering chilli pepper burn, oily lime. Novel.

Lots of lime up front, some fruit from the habanero and a bit of heat at the end
