Mariensteiner Export Hell wirkt probiotisch.

Bottle picked up from a Getrankemarkt, Waakirchen after 13-14km hike, Saturday 27th May 2023 in Mittenwald. Pours warm orange colour with a white head, soft mouthfeel, a little malty, a little sweeter and with very little bitterness. Good but not amazing.

500ml bottle. Hazy, orangey, dark golden to amber colour with huge, frothy, slowly diminishing, moderately lacing, white head. Mellow, husky, minimally bready, malty, and minimally yeasty, fruity aroma, hints of apricot, floral hoppy overtones. Taste is sweet-ish, slightly husky, minimally bready, malty, yeasty doughy, minimally yeasty fruity, hints of mandarine, apricot, minimally floral, hoppy overtones; minimally leafy, hoppy finish. Minimally mushy, watery texture, smooth and soft palate, fine, foamy carbonation. Flattering sweetness, nice fruitiness - not bad.

Tap at Corso Leopold. Cloudy golden, offwhite cream Low-key light dusty aroma, medium light, mellow, somewhat watery body, hayish, lightly fruity malt, light classic hop finish, fresh, no flaws, but no points of interest either.

Schnapp-Flascherl: Golden to deep golden, hazy, bigger - lacy - off-white head, moderate grainy-mineralic nose with a slight bitterness underneath; more mild than moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied as well, but very soft; slightly lingering smooth bitter-sweet finish. Uncomplicated thirst-quencher...

Bottle. Hazy orange-amber color with white head. Aroma is bready, some caramel, a touch oxidization. Taste is bready, caramel, a bit rustic, a bit dusty. Medium carbonation. Not bad, but no revelation.

(swing top bottle) Hazy, deep golden to amber colour with a medium-sized and slightly off-white foamy head. Slightly bready malty aroma with hints of caramel, a subtle fruity notes of citrus and mildly hoppy and yeasty spice in the background. Mildly sweet flavour, rather light bodied with a smooth carbonation. Slim and slightly bready cara-malty base with grainy spots; moderately sweet malty finish with notes of caramel and grain in the aftertaste. 29.V.16
