Black with little brown head. Aroma: citrus, cactus, berries, candy, roast, coffee. A really fresh sparkling hop note that travels into your nose while drinking. Also bitter-sweet malt that stays long after your last sip. Sour and bitter. Really complex taste. Overall: maybe not my favourite style but this one convinced me. Highly recommended.

330ml bottle from trade with Werckmeister. Many thanks. Pours black with small beige head. Aroma is light liquorice and treacle. Taste is nicely balanced with toasted malts, light liquorice, coffee, smoke and warming roast on the finish. Lovely smooth Imperial Stout that tastes a lot lighter than 9.2%!

Many thanks to Werckmeister for this bottle! The beer starts fresh and black. Hints of sourish malt, nice intense but not too deep. Dark chocolate in the aftertaste, the sourish aroma is a bit too dominating, but seems to belong to the beer itself. The aftertaste is the best - the aroma takes time to develop, malty bitter, smooth and chocolaty dark. Interesting. The ABV is not tasteable, the whole beer tastes like around 5%.

Bottle [from Euro Swap thanks to Saeglopur] @ weekly tasting shared with Thompson. Opaque black color, average to medium sized light brown head that lasts for a decent while. Aroma is malts, roast, a little sweet initially and some alcohol. Taste malts, some roast, some alcohol, brown malts, some liquorice, lightly bitter. Decent body and soft carbonation.

Bottle, thanks Werckmeister! Opaque black liquid with small to medium, fizzy tan head. Aroma of dried fruit, chocolate, floral hops, smoke, licorice, leather and pumpernickel. Taste is light to medium sweet and light to medium bitter with notes of coffee, roasted malt, dried fruit, raw sugar and caramel. Full bodied with medium carbonation. Pretty nice imperial stout! Roasted and sweet. Bit high carbonation.

330ml bottle. Jet black colour with huge, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, tan head. Sweet-ish, dark malty aroma, hints of liquorice, dark berries, blue grapes, a dusty, yeasty touch. Taste is initially roasty dark malty, fruity notes of dark berries, blue grapes, a touch of liquorice; in the middle part some treacle comes in and lends some sweetness, thereby fortifying the fruity component; bitter and slightly dusty, yeasty finish.
