Black colored, medium- strong tan creamy head. Aroma of sweet caramel, licorice, bit of vanilla maybe, chocolate, some roasted malts and some smoked notes. Taste is medium+ sweet malt, chocolate, licorice, dark fruits, bitter chocolate and a dry bitter roasted coco finish. Bit boozy. Full- bodied, medium carbonation. (Bottle Store Vienna,Vienna, A)

Bottle sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks Stas. Black with a tan head. Aroma of chocolate, licorice, roast, some alcohol, a iodine note. Bittersweetish flavor with roast, licorice, chocolate, coffee, hops, alcohol. Medium to full-bodied. Decent, but a bit harsh.

Bottle. Very hoppy nose, lots of citrus, licorice, cocoa, some coffee. Dark brown with lace. Very fruity, bit phenolic, estery, bananas, licorice, berries, orange, coffee, burnt wood. Bit too boozy. Full, heavy. Too boozy and sweet. Ok. Needs more aging.

Bottle. Pours hazy very dark brown with airy light tan head. Clear aroma of sugar, malt, caramel and coffee. Bitter, roasty flavour, with smoky notes and sweetish touches of caramel malt and chocolate. Hints of yeast and coffee. Bitterish aftertaste. Well-hidden ABV. Decent

Bottle, 9.2%. Creamy and bready aroma. Almost black colour, seems clear. Small stable tan head. The flavour is nicely bready with a distinct liquorice note. Late roasted note. Slightly salty liquorice finish. Hint of smoke. Well-balanced, but could have had less alcohol in my opinion.
