A flag waver for both European styles and hoppy pales, Craig had a long-held vision for a hopped up wheat beer. In Before You Laugh, the vision becomes fruity reality.
Before You Laugh celebrates all of the best qualities of a wheat beer and a pale ale. In one corner, Citra and Amarillo bring a New World hop profile, and in the other, a grist that is all about that wheat, bringing plenty of banana and clove esters to the party.
The label is inspired by iconic Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama.

A translucent golden coloured pour with a lively rocky white head. Attractive. Aroma is wheat, midget gems some piney notes, tangerine, pencil shaving. Flavour is composed of wheat, spicy tart citrus, lemon rind, mixed citrus, light wood, tangerine. Palate is light and fluffy. frothy carbonation. Good beer.

On tap at The Experiment, Hackney, London. A golden/ yellow coloured pour with a healthy white head on top. Yeasty, wheaty, spice, lemon aroma and taste.

Keg at The Experiment - Hackney. Pours opaque gold with a creamy white head. Lovely pithy grapefruit character, melon, lemon, wheat flakes, straw giving a little bitterness. Balanced bitterness overall, light chalky dryness. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Moderately grassy in the finish, more pithy citrus. Really solid.
