An Organic Brown Ale from Hornbeer. Brown Ale is the classic English pub ale. A top-fermented beer with a taste of chocolate malt and caramel malt. And why the crazy name? Hornbeer is a farmhouse brewery located in the beautiful Hornsherred, and a stone’s throw from the brewery is where the finest organic red cows graze. We wanted to spare you the trouble of pronouncing the Danish name “Den Røde Ko”, but maybe a few Red Cows could help with that? Enjoy Hornbeer "The Red Cow" for a good lunch with nice people. Brown Ale is the beer for not too spicy food. Try it with game or with a good stew.

Thank you! Sampled draft @ Delirium Hoppy Loft. Dark ruby amber, small tanned head. Nose is weird, hugely sweet cloying cough syrup, herbal candy, very sweet, thick herbal,... Taste falls flat, plastic, empty upfront, herbal, plastic cough syrup, bark,... First overly cloying cough syrup that is empty in taste,... Empty plastic herbal berry cough syrup brew,... Weird, not a big success,...

cloudy dark brown fluffy light brown head. malty to roasted malty aroma with dark toffee notes too. flavor is dark toffee, malts, chocolate, mineral waterish dry scandinavian bitterness ( only i understand what i mean i think ) , end quite rounded, with lots of dark toffee bitterness. Not my personal favorite style of beer, but pretty good for its kind, balanced.
