Rated as "Anna-Festbier".
Danke an wastl! 8/11/9/8

Bottle from a REWE in Forchheim. Deep gold in colour, with a slight white head and moderate carbonation. Heavy cereal malts, some stone fruits and a gently bitter finish. Ok, but a bit heavy going.

Draught at Annafest09. Good fruity and slightly sweet flavour. Has a little aromatic hoppiness that goes well with the fruit note. Low to medium bitterness. Big rocky off-white head.

From tap at the wonderfully hidden Blümleinskeller at the Annafest. Aromatic hop aroma. Couldnt see much of the colour due to the Stein and the amazing super stable head. Full malt body and noble hops, light metallic clayish notes - it tastes like the beer has absorbed a bit of the rock from the old Keller. Chewy full body. Fruity aftertaste (pears, clementines). Franconia Rocks!

Bottle: Golden coloured, a bit hazy, small foamy layer; strong sweet grainy (barley) nose; quite dry malty-grainy taste, sweetish flavour, medium bodied; short, drier, a bit alcoholic, grainy finish. A rather bland, unaromatic brew, not moreish............

(bottle, thankfully received from pivnizub) Clear, deep golden to light amber colour with a rather short creamy, minimal off-white layer. Toasted malty aroma, moderately sweet and dusty with a tinge of hops and honey. Slightly sweet flavour, medium body, soft carbonation, velvety mouthfeel. Moderately sweet and slightly toasty malty taste with a touch of honey and a subdued fruitiness; medium-dry, slightly bitter finish with balanced floral and herbal hops.
