ABV: 10.0%. Sparkling, lively - speaking, cloudy dark black colour with a huge, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, chocolate, whisky, wood - smoke, barrel. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, chocolate, cocoa, whisky, dark malt, malt bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming. [20200830]

Fles gedeelt door Roelzie1986, het is een diep donkerbruin bier met een volle beige schuim. Het heeft een houtige wat rokerige geur. De smaak is houtig, rook, turf en whisky.

Botella 33 cl del Western tomada en Oviedo 02..03..2018. (r10). Color negro intenso con espuma beige oscuro persistente. Sabores maltosos tostados con toques de cacaos, ligeras vainillas y torrefactos. Suaves maderas y especiados. No se deja notar mucho el envejecimiento de whisky. Suaves caramelizados tostados. Cuerpo medio algo espumoso y cierta densidad. Buena sensación alcohólica. Buena aunque se esperaba un poco más de turba o tostados. Buena.

Sample from 33 cl bottle. Pitch black with a huge lightly tanned head. Sweet aroma with chocolate, coffee, liquorice, caramel malts, roasted notes. Taste is bitter. Full body with an oliy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes drying and roasted bitter with dark malts. Nice.
