(bottle, 33cl) Cloudy, ruby amber colour with a short off-white foamy layer. Vinegary fruity aroma with notes of morellos and a delicately oaky touch in the background. Sour flavour, medium to light bodied with a smooth carbonation. Fruit-accented vinegary taste with loads of morello-cherries and shades of oaky notes; quite lasting mildly acidic finish with a delicately malty sweetness. Interesting. 27.III.17

Bottle. Hazy red amber, low head. Berries dissolved in paint thinner or grannies perfume. Medium light mellow sparkly and dry. Berry, fairly sweet, vanilla, tobacco, unusual.

Red with almost no head. Aroma is cherries, wood, some syrup, red berries. Taste is sour raspberries with some red wine tanines, sweet fruit. Bitter finish. A bit meh and strange...

Bottle. Hazy red color with hardly any head. Aroma is cherry, milky, acetone, oak sugar. Taste is more of the same. Medium carbonation. Not bad, better than expected!

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a hazy, deep red with a small, off-white head - quite pretty. Nose has some cherries buried underneath a layer of acetone. Light body, close to no carbonation, again cherry and acetone and some further chemical accents. A nice attempt at a sour cherry style, but it doesn’t pull through. 081216

bottle from del mon. hazy red-brown, with a small white head. opened without gushing, plus points for that achievement, given barrelling and berries and wild stuff. aroma is very tart with a beryish hue to it, like the sweeter sour belgish beers. lots of vinegar. Flavor is herbal bitter, woody bitter, mild sourness, berries, quite tasty, one of the tastier fruit beers i’ve had at this relatively high ABV. as the berries are cherries, they leave some marcipan flavors behind, whihc is subtle here, and a nice touch.. More intentionally sour beers with stuf from the mallrocan mountain hills, pls.
