Das Weiherer India Pale Ale (IPA) kommt in dunklem Bernstein mit feinem, leicht cremefarbenen Schaum ins Glas. Im Geruch dominiert - wie typisch für diese starke, obergärige Biersorte - der Hopfen mit fruchtigen Noten wie Grapefruit in Kombination mit waldigen Aromen wie Pinie. Im Geschmack zeigen die Karamellmalze ihre Wirkung. Süße, Vollmundigkeit und eine ausgewogene Kohlensäure, gepaart mit den Hopfenaromen, die gegen Ende durch die deutliche Bittere ergänzt werden. Anwendungshinweis: Bitte erst riechen und dann genießen!

Flaska från Weiherer. Disig bärnstensfärgad vätska med högt stabilt kladdigt skum. En västkust-IPA som känns torrare och mer utjäst och kanske blir kroppen lite lidande av det. Humlen är inte heller jättepigg men trots det snygg med en besk smakbild utan att vara särskilt besk konstigt nog men kanske är det en effekt av den låga sötman.Resin, grapeskal och kåda. Trevlig

0,5 l bottle from Getränke Höpner, Hamburg. BB 11.03.2027. Cloudy amber in the glass with a stable and nearly two finger light tanned head. Looks really good. Intensive citrus fruity aroma, resin and pine, black tea and malty. Taste ist malty, resin and pine, citrus in the background. Present bitterhop. Really nice one.

Bottle picked up from Sedats Schlüggla Getrankemarkt, Schwaig bei Nürnberg on the way back home after Maifield Derby Music Festival quite a few weeks back now, Consumed at home Wednesday 9th July 2025. Listening to ByteFM, Summer had disappeared these last few days, it's 14c and been cool and showery all week. Pours dark gold, actually closer to a copper colour, hazy appearance, large off white head. Nice bite, good bitterness, resinous, dry finish, would compare very favourably with a classic highly rated American IPA.

From Heinrich 3000, Kornwestheim. Best before 11/24, drinking it yesterday, at Epalinges, after a walk through the Lavaux. Classical, old school ipa, good, malty, smooth, resinous, citrus, balanced bitterness, full body, yeasty. Drinking it, the last sunday.

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is floral, fruity and some mild herbal tones. Flavour is caramel, some floral, mild herbal and earthy tones. Quite basic. Not very IPA like, unless it's a German hop IPA... But yeah, still not much bitterness or anything...

Bottled 500ml. -from Ambasada Zagreb, shared with Marko & hrabren. Amber coloured, medium sized pale beige head, caramel and light vegetables in the nose. Sweet malty, herbal, light caramel and some alcohol with bitter sweet finish.

Bottle, thx Ogi for sharing with Hrabren and me. Very dark brownish red-amber hazy body, off-white head. Creamy, oxidized aroma, caramelly, light wormwood touches. ugh. Caramel, vaguely dark fruit notes, with an aggressive herbal wormwoody bitterness. Urgh. Aperitifbier, jaaaa. This is so old school it's no school. ČIPA from Germany.
