Brewery tap. Dark amber color. Caramel, just a hint of roast, grass in the aroma and flavor. Bready, sweetish, floral. Hint of sulphur.

“Stublanger Dunkles“, vom Faß beim Löwen-Bräu Hennemann, Stublang. - Kupferrotbraun, klar. - In der Nase gediegenes dunkles Malz und frische Fruchtigkeit. - Antrunk mild aber gediegen dunkelmalzig mit Toastmalz, Nuß und Kirsche. Gut rezent, was mir sonst weniger zusagt, aber an einem brütend heißen Tag wie heute eine Wohltat ist; schlank, vielleicht etwas dünn. Im Abgang milde aber ausreichende Hopfenherbe. - Nettes fränkisches Dunkles. (Bei größtem Durst verkostet, vielleicht etwas zu positiv bewertet.)

(tap at the brewpub) Clear, dark amber colour with a short and slightly tanned foamy head. Dark and mildly toasted malty aroma with notes of bread crusts, caramel and shades of herbal hops. Moderately bitter and mildly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Bready dark malty and slightly toasted taste with notes of caramel; lingering moderately bitter and slightly mineralic finish with a tail of caramel. 19.XI.16

Dark amber with little beige head. Aroma is roast and nuts, some caramel notes as well. Taste is shallow bitterness with some rather awkward minerally sourness. Slightly watery. Not bad, not particularly good.

Tap. Dark amber-copper color with eggshell head. Aroma is malty, lightly hopped, some fruity yeasts. Taste is yeasty, Fruchtgummi, a bit mineralic. Silky mouthfeel. Nice Landbier!

Tap at brewery. Very pretty chestnut with a big brown fluffy head. Light fruity malt nose. Dry malt forward, light chalky body, good grassy hop balance. Light, fresh. Moreish.
