Das Räucherla vom Hennemann, vom Faß auf dem Bad Staffelsteiner Bierbrauerfest. - Kupfergoldbraun, fast klar. (15.8.2022.)

(tap at the brewpub) Almost clear, amber to copper colour with a short and slightly tanned foamy head. Ham-smokey malty aroma with notes of burnt wood. Mildly bitter flavour, light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slim dark malt character with present smokey notes of smoked ham and sausages, mineralic accents; smokey, moderately bitter hoppy and slightly buttery malty finish. Solid. 19.XI.16

Dark amber with little white head. Aroma is lots of ham. Bah. Taste is umami with some sourness and a sweet caramelly touch. Nice mouthfeel with much carbonation and bubbles. Again ham in the finish. I don’t like the ham.

Tap. Dark amber-ruby color with beige head. Aroma is lightly smoked, ham, herbal. Taste is ham, earthy, caramel, quite mineralic, also buttery. Natural carbonation. Nice and easy smoked, a bit too mineralic.

Tap(Fest der Staffelsteiner Brauer 2014):Light amber coloured, firm and stable off-white head; distinctive woody-smokey traces in the sweetish dark-malty nose; mild to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, nearly medium bodied, quite soft;slightly lingering sweetish smokey and malty finish, followed by a slight hoppy aftertaste. Really good…

At the Bad Staffelstein bierfest, 15 August 2014. Copper coloured, with a decent, off-white, head. More smoky than the Hetzel rauchbier tried on the same day, with a touch of sweetness and moderately bitter finish. Good.

Süffiger und vollmundiger Antrunk mit hefigen und würzigen Malznoten, letztere angenehm süß. Stimmig, passend hopfig, ausgewogen. Sogar minimal rauchig in der Süße. 8/11/11/11//11
