Bottle, 500 ml from Pivoteka. Shared with Miro and Max. Pours dark brown, small medium beige head. Bit roasted, malty, chocolate, sweetish, some fruit, bitterish finish. Medium bodied. As usual well executed beer by Fuller’s.

Flaske 500ml fra Vinmonopolet Oslo - Aker Brygge. Delt med EgilB, Helge og Rune på Nerstranda 5 Jan 17. Svart. Lavt skum med litt farge. Forsiktig maltaroma med hint av sjokolade. Smaken balansert. Litt sjokolade. Mest røstet malt. Bra - men kunne kanskje vært lagret litt lenger.

500ml bottle kindly shared by Finn at a New Year’s gathering. A deep, almost black body under a bubbly, fawn-coloured head. Scattered lacing. Inviting aroma of caramel and dried fruits. More chocolate malts to the flavours profile, also featuring moments of raisin, prunes and dark caramel. Mid-dry, gently roasted ending. Well bodied. Lovely (Tromsø 05.01.2017).

Bottle at the Builders Arms, Croydon. It pours black with a decent tan head. The aroma is rather fruity, jammy berry, plum, liquorice, roasted malt, dark chocolate and unami. The taste is rich roasted malt, sweet blueberry, plum, date, liquorice, charred wood, chocolate, spice and some warming alcohol through the finish. Full body and moderate carbonation. Robust stuff. Pretty good depth of flavour. Good stuff.

Nice light brown slightly fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sour-ish roasted, weeds, minerals, licorice, roasted grain, grass, paper, burnt toast. Taste is slightly dry mineraly, weeds, minerals, paper, licorice, roasted grain, alcohol, burnt toast, bark, grass. Medium bitterness, slightly dry and harsh mineraly mouthfeel. Boring.

(bottle) Dark brown colour with a beige and firm medium-sized foamy head. Earthy and leathery toasted malty aroma with notes of caramel, dark chocolate and mocha. Mildly bitter and delicately sweet flavour, medium bodied with a calm carbonation. Mildly bready, leafy and earthy malty taste with hints of chocolate and dried fruits; leading into a mildly sweet malty and dried fruity finish with shades of chocolate and booze. 27.XI.16

Creamy beige head left a frothy cover on a very dark brown oily body - Looks great. Coffee, plum & brown sugar aroma Medium bodied, very smooth on the palate & it just slides down the throat. Minimal carbonation feel. Plum, brown sugar, caramel, burnt sugar, coffee, dark chocolate & so so smooth.

Bottle. Brown color with beige head. Aroma is aromatic coffee, black chocolate. Taste is molasses, chocolate and coffee. Silky mouthfeel, slightly warming finish. Quite nice and well-balanced.

Many thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Pours almost black with a huge most good lasting tan head. aroma of chocolate, sweet dark malt and liquorice. Taste of sweet dark chocolate malt, liquorice, toffee, sweet, delicious!
