Probably our favourite hop currently, Idaho 7 is a beautiful balance of sharp tropical fruits and some more old school pine and resin notes. We added a touch of Bru-1 for that wonderful fresh pineapple zing and sprinkling of Mosaic to round it out with a bit of savoury and dank. It’s initially sweet on the aroma and taste, but finishes with a lovely pithy sharpness which is what we are looking for in these beers at the moment.

Can picked up at Væskebalancen - Valby and drunk at home (16/08/2021) - hazed up golden pour with a white head. Vibrant fruity aroma and taste, lots of pineapple and grapefruit, some papaya and mango notes in play, juicy fruity, sweet malty support across a medium body, assertive hoppy finish. Lovely.

Can from House Of Trembling Madness. Murky golden body with a thin white head that fades. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of pineapple, straw and flower petals. Flavour of overripe mango and black pepper. Medium to full body with a creamy texture. Soft fizz. A solid DIPA but the hop notes feel slightly muted somehow.

Can. Murky dark gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth malts, a light creamy sweetness. Ripe citrus, ageing peel and ripe tropical fruits. A little smooth pine and some enlivening hop spice. Light semi dry finish. Decent and drinkable but lacks something and I think it is some fresh hop brightness. Tasty and drinkable but missing some fairy dust.
