Can. Pours a clear amber gold with a near white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a light smoke and a good amount of grain with a bit of bread supporting. Flavor is bread forward with some growing bread and a bit of sweet grains underlying.

Fairly cloudy and lightly hazy golden coloured body with a thinnish, relatively quickly fading pure white heaad that leaves some very subtle lace on the sides of the glass. Aroma of smoked meats, soy sauce, umami and very mushroomy notes with a light touch of malts, cardboard and even some sugars noticeable, but the smoke is evident, just a touch funky in the form of a 'beechwood' from 'budweiser' products. Light-bodied; Fairly crisp, but noticeable smoke flaovur at first comes from the malts, but in such a subtle and clear way that the umami and soy sauce, funky notes show stronger and leave an off-putting finish from the 'smoke' here, with a subtle dose of sugars that are here as well and a dose of dry, floral notes and a glimmer of hops near the end that show some Saaz action. Aftertaste shows a relatively good and cleanish profile of the malts, a light touch of the smoke flavours and some soft and subtle sweetness, without any pungency, astringency and definitely no alcohol coming through. Overall, a decent enough, fairly funky, but noticeable lager with some smoked elements that are better in the nose than they are in the mouth and palate, but not bad and not cloying by any stretch of the imagination - this one is very easy-drinking throughout and crisp and flavourful, if you fancy it in the summertime, it would still work, as it does in Wintertime here! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Carmine Street Beers in New York (Greenwich Village), New York on 02-May-2021 for US$3,99 sampled at my house here in Washington just a few hours before returning back to New York, on 13-January-2021.

16oz can pours a clear gold with creamy white head. Nose has big wood and cold smoke and bologna, some grist. Flavor has some grist, a little bread and then straight bologna. Finishes dry. Just too much sausage for me and the malt doesn't counter balance.
