Draught at Tip Tap Room, 10/11/21. Milkshake-like violet-blackberry with a small, purple head that slowly fades to nothing. Nose is tannic/chalky and poignant at the same time with red currant-like notes, deep vinousness and a softer wheat comedown on the finish. Heavy tannin-like chalkiness/earthiness/blandness dissipates pretty well as it warms/breathes and I'm left with brighter, vibrant notes of berry and moderate lactic character. Juicy and yet still nicely attenuated. Great balance here, never gets too sweet or thick and, indeed, on the finish of the glass, it's more tart/acidic than sweet/juicy. I like that. And I love the clarity and power of the authentic fruit flavor, the softness of the wheat and the moderatation of the lactic acid. Another gem in this real gem of a series.

Can. Pours a cloudy purple with large pink head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is berry, cherry, dough, wheat. Slick body, boysenberry, wheat, dough, green olive, light tartness, good.

Gusher. Teku showing dark purple with a seemingly endless purple head. The nose shows sharp pronounced tart notes of steel and copper. The palate is well carbonated and light bodied. Mildly tart with light notes of boysenberry and subtle malt on the finish.

32 oz. growler from the source. Sat in the fridge almost 2 weeks. Beautiful purple magenta color. Flavor shows a very slight tartness in a thick fruity smoothie kind of way. Huge lingering Boysenberry. Good balance of tartness and fruit. Delicious!
