Pours an oily black, with smallish, fast-dissipating head. Aromas of coffee and chocolate. Flavor is coffee and chocolate, some licorice, perhaps a touch of dark fruit (prune/plum). Very rich and smooth. Lightly sweet. Touch of bitterness at the finish, though more like bitter chocolate. Good, but maybe a little one-note?

07-01-19, oh yeah that's a lot of coffee upfront, chocolate in the back, and lots of both. Coffee is espresso nearly, so the kind of roast I like. The dutch chocolate is clear too, that milky (no lactose?!) Sweet and dark bittery mix of notes blends well.

On tap at Great Notion NW, pours jet black with a medium light brown head. Aroma brings out very intense cocoa, spiciness, and caramel. Flavour is rich as hell, with tons of deep coffee, cocoa, spicy notes, and caramel. Chocolatey and rich, like tiramisu indeed. Excellent, though a bit brutal.

16 oz. Aroma is coffee, chocolate, and dark bread, oh my. Pours inky black with a one finger dark tan head with good retention. Taste is moderately sweet, moderately bitter, with Tiramisu-like chocolate and coffee flavors, a note of licorice. Nice velvety mouthfeel with tight compact carbonation. Good.
