Fläschla: Pale golden, not completely clear, small and stable white head; dryish herbal-grassy nose with faint papery traces; moderate dry bitter flavour, very small base of balancing malts, light bodied or "slim"; slightly lingering dryish herbal finish, followed by a molecular malty sweetness in the aftertaste. Just not much better than the usual nasty suspects from the North-German badlands. This "guitar" (what a stupid name for a beer...) is a bit out of tune...

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond mid-sized frothy head. Slightly grainy malty nose with a touch of herbal hops. Mildly bitter and delicately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a crisp carbonation. Pale malty base with hints of white bread and discreetly grainy notes; dry-ish, mildly bitter hoppy finish with herbal spice and cautious grainy spots. A decent Pils. 24.II.17

Taste is minimally sweet pale malty, mildly floral and grassy hoppy overtones. Typical Southern German Pilsener with more malt sweetness than hop bitterness.
