Our first beer drawing from a base most closely inspired by Lambic that features 100% red raspberries. In this circumstance, we fermented and aged spontaneous beer in freshly emptied Port barrels. After reaching maturity, we blended beers with a minimum age of one year in barrel, and an average age of approximately 18 months, and refermented the blend with fresh Oregon red raspberries.

Bottle. Pours deep red purple. Raspberry, raspberry jam, floral, blackberry, cherry, funk, sherry vinegar, rose, red wine, hefty funk. Nice spritz. Phenomenal.

[notes] Poured from bottle @ FHF 2023 (Aug 12, 2023). Deep red with pink head. Great aroma of raspberry. Taste doesn't quite live up, but decent.

Deep purple colour. Deep raspberry aroma and flavour. Tart, with balanced with a fair bit of sugar as well.

Bottle pour at Farmhouse Fest 2023, pours a deep dark pinkish red with a small pink head. Aroma brings out tons of pithy raspberries, light bugs, and some oak. Flavour is juicy, with lots of juicy pithy raspberries, oak, and wild bugs. Juicy pithy raspberries, with an oaky dry finish. Excellent.

A taster shared with Josh, Matt, Phill, and Ryan during FHF with priceless Rachel's (yup, again!) help in organizing all the mess with glasses. Appearance: nice purple with a rose head. Aroma: very juicy raspberries, juicy, thick. Taste: same, funky, a bit dry, juicy. Overall: good one.

750ml bottle pours out ruby red color topped with a sexy head. Nose is big raspberries jammy seed tartness and some funky barrel. Taste is great sweet but yet tart and funky.

750ml bottle. Heavy, aggressively sour and tartish with some oak, raspberries, hints of dark berry juice and earthiness. Intense. Good one.

Oh my, this is a lovely one. Lots of raspberry, huge amount. Juicy. Base is nicely sour, pretty dry and pretty woody. Barrels add some vinousness and extra flavour. Great blend of flavours, with so much fruit.
