16oz can pours a clear brown with a ring of khaki head. Nose has malt, sweet tea, brown sugar, some candied pecans. Flavors follow, malt and tea and candied nuts, some butterscotch. Earthy. Dry finish, a touch watery.

On tap at Tørst. pours brown with a beige head. Toasted malt, caramel, brown bread, hint of smoke. Good.

Never thought I'd have an English mild that wasn't boring, caramel coffee toffee umami upfront, clean toasted biscuit finish, delish.

7 oz pour shared at Snallygaster 2018. Dark brown with beige head. Aromas of roast, grain, malt. Tastes of malt, roast. Medium body with a dry finish.

Growler from the brewery, shared the same day up in Old Forge. Pours clear brown with a tan cream head. The aroma has moderate roasted malts, toasty brown bread. Light to medium sweet, with some dried berries and leather, more brown bread, soft cocoa. Light bodied with massaging carbonation. Great balance in the finish, with more cocoa and hints of earth. Outstanding.

Owl Farm, Brooklyn: pours light brown with beige head. Aroma is chocolate and light nuts. Taste is nice and clean dark chocolate and some roast. Very smooth. Quite good.
