Can (7/2/20) pour from trade with AirForceHops--thanks, Chris! It's an opaque black with no sparkle, 3-finger width light brown foamy head with fair retention and spotty lacing. Aroma is strong earthy roasted malts, toffee and anise. Taste is a perfect reflection of the aroma. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with silky smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, good strength to aroma and taste with fair complexity. Really smooth mouthfeel but maybe a little thin. Nice.

16 oz. can. Date of: 7/02/20. Aroma and flavor are a mirror. Deep roasted malt backbone with hints of chocolate and coffee. Body is full and thick with a creamy texture. A very well-made base imperial stout.
Dry, classic stout
