Can at Grrrowlers, like the artwork. Pint glass. Dirty black, opaque, heady pour. Oily peanut & coco, amaretto nose. Peanut extract dust, dark chocolate, sharp malt, oily finish, industrial. Dense, very slight, lingering herbal bite, sweet & base overall. Kinda good, 2 for 2 today.

Uh, yeah, reaching out there for a beer name. But Martin House does well by their dark, heavy beers. My Delirium snifter to catch the liquid from the 12 oz can, more black than brown with a feathery head of tan foam. The smell is a cake or a pastry or something like that. The taste is as put out there on the label, graham crackers, vanilla, chocolate, candy and dessert. A sipper to be lingered over.

12 oz. can from Spec's in Boerne,TX. Pours a motor oil black color with a light tan head and good retention. Good lacing. Sweet vanilla and chocolate cookie aroma. Flavors of molasses, vanilla, graham crackers and booze. Not as sweet as the aroma. The flavors are all there, but they don't blend well together. This beer doesn't know what it wants to be. Thick, heavy mouthfeel and a long boozy finish. The 10.0% ABV is obvious, but not harsh. Disappointing.
