Canning date illegible, drunk 7/23/21.
Well-carbonated, blonde-golden, with high clarity and a massive, white head showing strong retention.
Floral/spicy hops are not too strong in the nose, but balance the rich, honey-drenched malts. Mineral-like notes from the yeast deepen complexity and there's an appealing bready/grainy malt character on the finish, as well. No alcohol or flaw noted.
Soft and malty, with good attenuation, in the mouth. Floral hops are quite bitter towards the finish but give a biting crispness that balances the sumptuous, honey and bread-like malt notes. Clean, flavorful and refreshing. Can't imagine a much more authentic rendition from outside of Czech Republic. Lingering lemon rind, flower, bread, beautiful spice and mineral. Lovely stuff. Would love to try this fresh on draught.
