Inspiriert durch britische Kultur haben wir Earl Grey Tee mit britischen Hopfensorten in einem India Pale Ale verheiratet. Earl Grey hat wie IPA eine Geschichte in der Seefahrt. Auf See vermischte sich im Laderaum Bergamotteöl mit Schwarztee. Das Ergebnis war vorzüglich. Die Bergamottearomatik, ergänzt um klassischen britischen Hopfen mit seinen würzig, orangigen Noten ergibt eine traumhafte Kombination im Bier. Die Schwarzteebittere ergänzt die Hopfenbittere zu einem sehr trockenen Finish.

On tap at Craft Room, Opatovina, Zagreb. Summer of 2017. Shared with lovely Anja. Hazy amber, small off-white head. Moderately hoppy, fruity and citrus aromas mixed with Earl Grey or green tea. Fruity and tea flavours, sweet with honey notes, bitterness subdued. Medium body, soft to moderate carbonation, sweet finish. Well done, but more hops could've been used.

On tap at Craft Room, Zagreb. Pours hazy orange, medium creamy white head. Spicy, some tea, malty, light fruitness. Smooth. Light bitterness in finish.

330ml bottle. Hazy, dark amber colour with average to huge, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Fruity hoppy and herbal aroma, notes of bergamot, a citrusy touch, some orange. Taste is dry, hoppy, slightly citrusy and herbal, notes of bergamot, a touch of lemon and orange zest, minimally chalky overtones. A well matching combination as is known since at least Marble's and Emelisse's collabrew.

Bottled 330ml. -at Magic Beer Room Zagreb. Unclear amber coloured, small to medium sized off-white head, light herbs and earl grey in the nose. Sweetish malty, quite herbal, notes of earl grey and mild citrusy notes. Rather dry bitter finish with somehow harsh bitterness in the aftertaste. Interesting but nothing more than that.

Unclear, orange-golden colored, medium white head. Aroma is of some malt, earl grey tea, some citrus and herbal notes. Taste is medium sweet pale malt, caramel, light biscuit, mostly earl grey tea, some herbal and citrus notes, medium bitterness, dry finish. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, oily. Really is Earl Grey. Tap at Craft Room. Misty red amber, more red than amber. White head. Perfumey earl gray amd malt aroma. Lovely earl gray sweetish taste. Medium bitterness. Cool enough.

01-04-17 // sampled at CRAFT Frankfurt 2017. Very hazy murky orange beer. Nose is light tea aroma. Taste is nice hoppy, medium sweet, herbal grassy aroma. Some tea leaves in the finish, black tea.

Sampled @ CRAFT Frankfurt 2017. Sehr trübes orange goldenes Bier mit einer geringen beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch ist intensiv hopfig, harzig, karamellig. Geschmack ist zitronig hopfig, angenehm fruchtig hopfig bitter, floral hopfig.
