Coffee, chocolate and barley hints, make this a stout for every occasion.
A stout that Rocky would drink in a full-on 80s montage!
Full of body and character but as smooth as the Italian Stallion! The Fuggles hops add to its earthy goodness and provide a light bittering that compliments the coffee, chocolate and barley hints, making it a stout for every occasion.

500ml bottle from YouDrink. Gluten Free. Dark brown colour, bubbly beige foam head and aroma of roast malt, chocolate, earthy. Taste is ashy, malty, roasted, tangy, with dark chocolate and coffee, and earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry smoked earthy bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.

Keg draught at the Ale Wagon, Leicester. Mid- to dark brown with a a bit of translucency. A very small beige/khaki head.massive roasted malt aroma. Some bitter cooking chocolate. Taste has a caramel sweetness to it before the bitterness envelops it. Dry in the finish as befitting the style. More caramel and some woody hop in the aftertaste. Lightly carbonated on the oily body. Very interesting and nice to make its acquaintance.

Creamy tan head left a spotty cover on a still black body. Coal, tobacco & roasted aroma. Medium bodied, smooth with a clean back. Sweet, fruity, roasted, nutty & liquorice tastes. Lovely Pint

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Appearance - opaque black with a very thin fawn head. Generally not much carbonation on opening in fact. Nose - dark chocolate and coffee. Light smoke. Taste - coffee and dark chocolate again. Palate - creamy and lightly roasty. Dry finish. Overall - top coffee for me.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Slight gusher. Pours near black with a thin beige head. Aromas of yeast esters and light roast. Taste is marred by a very prickly carbonation. Some leather and blackberry. Bit too much condition ruins it though.
