500 ml bottle, from Vaaland, Bryne. ABV is 4.7%. Black colour, large beige head. Aroma of roast malts, dark chocolate and mild coffee. Fizzy mouthfeel. Dry flavour with a slight acidity, roast malts, dark chocolate and coffee again, some hop bitterness.

50cl bottle (shared with Arve_Christian) from Meny, Bø. Pours black with a rather fluffy, tanned head. Roasty aroma with hints of chocolate and dark fruits. Moderate to medium sweet, rather balanced and easy to drink. Decent stuff.

Fiskåbanen 220818. Red dark brown color with a beige head. Aroma is yeast, coffee, chocolate. Flavor is dry, yeast, coffee, chocolate, sourness, hop, pine, roasted malt. Nice/OK beer.

Growler, 1 liter, from Gulating Skien. It pours a reddish dark brown body under a small, dense, light beige head. The aroma is dryish, with roasted malts, bonfire hints, some dark chocolate and smoked game meat. Bread notes, roasted malts, bonfire, dark chocolate hints, some prunes and a meaty touch in the flavor, with a decent bitterness and some piney hints. It's velvety and full to medium bodied, semi-dry, with a long roasted malt driven finish. Some diacetyl shows up when the beer warms up a bit, but overall it's a fine brew indeed. 180822

0,5 flaske, delt med Gunnar og Bryne på Den store sommersmakingen juli-18: mørk mahogny med ok skum som varer. Mørk sjokolade, lys kaffe, hint av aske/røyk. Slank, og med behagelig bitterhet i den halvtørre avslutningen.
