Opaque pale yellow. Some tropical fruit notes in the aroma. On the palate there’s light bitterness, lots of alcohol and a sweet coconut over top. Malts seems a bit thin. Arguably the balance could be better - more coconut or less harshness would make me happier.

Poured from 473mL can. Opaque murky blonde with white head. Coconut suntan lotion, citrus hops. Better than the original coconuts, but still feel that the coconut/hop balance is a bit harsh.

Hazy yellow with little foam. Lots of coconut on the nose, like suntan lotion, slight grass. Taste is very nice coconut, sweet but dry, actually bringing out some fresh coconut bitterness. Full finish, well done.

Draught at the brewery
Murky pale yellow colour. Actually, more aroma of hops, but also coconuts. Creamy oats flavour, milk sweetness, some coconuts, it's thick, quite sweet, there are hop qualities but they are partially hidden by the other elements; unfortunately it ends with too much hop burn, pithy bitterness, that is recurring too often in recent times. Without that hop burn, this would actually be pretty good. The rating reflects the average between what could have been and the absolute hate that I felt one hour later, when my throat was still in pain.

Taster. Appearance: pours a murky blonde with a white head. Aroma: medium amount of coconut, juicy, a nice tropical fruits mix. Taste: quite noticeable coconut backed by fruity hops, medium sweetness, and noticeable bitterness. Overall: this is actually good.

On tap at Superflux, pours an opaque, murky, ugly yellow with a small white head. Nose is loaded with fruity hops, citrus, some hop burn, and less coconut than I expected. Flavour is more hops than coconut, with plenty of bright, bitter citrus hops, some tropical fruits, and again, rather restrained coconut. A bit chalky on the mouthfeel, but the hops are nice and the hint of coconut character that actually struggles through is a nice complement. About as good as the regular version.
