Huge thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Bottle looks good, beer in the glass dark brown, small head. Roasty-earthy aroma. Starts strong, earthy-malty notes, grainy, wheaty, mild sweetish background. Light fruity hints. Very strange beer. Finish should be more balanced. Hmmm.

Slightly alcoholic nose, forest fruit, strawberries, wood. The beer starts smooth and intense, fruity. Slightly sourish salty in the mainpart, caramel. The wood is there, alcohol and a bit liquorice. Round and smooth malty with a bitter ending. Great and round, smooth malty but the wood is in the aftertaste a bit in the back. Nice one.

BKL2017. Very muddled aroma, meaty, some port. Brown, no head. Dry, wooden, Barrel notes, light berries, sparkly acid. Confusing

Spritziger, leicht alkoholisch vanilliger Antrunk. Minimal alkoholisch, holzige Beinoten. Vollmundig, gut. 10/11/11/11//11

Mahagoni with no head. Aroma is rum ,clove, phenols, dried apples, spices. Taste is sweet phenolic stuff with lots of sourness and bitterness later. Mealy cherry pip stuff on the tongue. Sadly too boozy to drink. Meh.

Bottle. Hazy reddish-brown color with no head. Aroma is prunes, some phenols, oak sugar, vanilla, caramel. Taste is phenolic, prunes, figs, vanilla. Oily mouthfeel. Ok.

Brown body, with a small, beige head.
Aroma of toffee, milk chocolate, sweet dried fruits, some sweet wine, some cocoa, subtle toast.
Tastes quite similar, but even sweeter and a bit boozy.
Medium, oily mouthfeel, with a soft carbonation.
Finishes sweet, a bit boozy, a bit toasty, slightly fruity.
Nice one, while not outstanding. Very sweet and also quite boozy, not too balanced in my opinion. Still with nice, diverse notes, definitely and interesting beer, while not how I prefer this style.

33cl bottle. Trübes orange braunes Bier. Geruch nach reifen Kirschen, bananig, hefig. Geschmack nach süßen reifen Bananen, etwas Kirsche, joghurt.
