Das "Kellerbier" der Brauerei Maisach, Flasche von Liebick, Germering, verkostet 29.4.2025. - Goldbraun, nur schwach hefetrüb. - In der Nase schön brotig-getreidiges helles Malz, ein wenig Hefe und sortentypisch (für ein Export) milde, fein zitrusfruchtige Hopfung. - Antrunk schlank hellmalzig mit sauber getreidigen Zügen, schöner Karamelsüße und recht lebhafter orangenbitterer und herbaler Hopfung. Milder rezent, vollmundig; ganz leise alkoholisch. Im Abgang mild-aromatische Hopfenherbe. - Zwar nicht so knackig gehopft wie ein fränkisches Kellerbier, aber dieser Vergleich ist auch nicht angebracht: dies ist ein unfiltriertes Exportbier und als solches solider malzig, mild doch gediegen gehopft und dank Verzicht auf Filtration frischer und komplexer als üblich. Sauber!

Hazy blond colour, white foam. Malty, notes of grass and hay. Light sweet, good Kellerbier.

Served in Stein. Aroma is bready malty with good amount of lemon and some noble hops. Taste is light sour malt which resembles more a rustic character. Good bread and noble hops as well. Quite drinkable. Not a huge fan of the sour note. Alright.

500 ml bottle. Unclear golden, foamy head. Hay, straw, bread, pale malt, dry citrus notes, yeasty. Dry bitterness, light malty sweetness. Medium bodied, lively carbonated, dry finish. Nice and thirst quenching.

Euro-Flasche: Sourish fruity-yeasty traces ( n o t caused by infection!) in the sweetish grainy and strawy nose; pale golden, nearly clear, medium-sized loose white head that slowly collapses; mild to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, pretty light bodied, a bit tart; lingering, drier bitter and mildly pale-malty finish. Not too bad, but all in all disappointing...

(bottle) Slightly hazy, pale golden colour with a blond and tall foamy head. Delicately grainy malty aroma with hints of sour dough, backed by grassy and slightly herbal hops. Mildly sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Slightly yeasty malty base with doughy and shy grainy notes, cautious grassy hops stay in the backyard; slightly sweet and discreetly bitter finish. Not overly exciting. 26.II.17

Sampled @ BKL 2017. Fast klare hell goldgelbe Farbe, geringe weiße Schaumkrone. Geruch mild hopfig, getreidig, Heu. Geschmack mild hopfig, getreidig, Heu, okay.
