Ein IPA – India Pale Ale – wie noch nie zuvor gebraut: Mit untergäriger Hefe wird es zum Münchner Indisch Pale Lager. Anstelle der Fruchtigkeit einer Ale-Hefe tritt hier die Feinheit der oberbayrischen Lager-Hefe. Die dadurch gewonnene Klarheit in Geschmack und Geruch trägt das wilde Spiel der Hopfenaromen aus den Sorten Amarillo, Centennial, Citra, Chinook und Taurus und bindet die voluminöse Hopfenbittere erstklassig ein.

0,33l from bottle at Ammersee bought at Walther Mai. Bb 02/2027. Amber hazy color, small white head. smells bit old hoppy, earthy, spices, soapy, light dill. Ok smell. full body, soft carbonation. Tastes soapy, earthy, resin, light veggies, light sweetness, tobacco. Finishes lightly bitter and sweet with notes of resin, pines and earthy notes. Very old school beer, at first some light veggie notes where noticable. Soon strong resin and pine notes take over. Rather one sided beer, tastes also a lot heavier than 6,5%. Just drinkable overall

Light gold, Medium white head, caramel and citrus-pineapple nose like a West Coast beer. Wow, smooth caramel and a lot of it, like Dutch caramel waffles. Silky moderate bitterness, lightly citrus fruity, very tasty West Coast IPL!

Bottle at the brewpub, 15/07/17. Light haze on a golden orange pour with a decent off white head. Nose carries big cheese notes, orange squash, grains, light citric notes. Taste improves ... Orange peel, toasted bread, orange squash, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close dashed with juicy hop strokes. Could have been a good beer but the big cheese strokes knock this down a good .5 overall for me.

Sampled @ BKL 2017. Fast klare dunkel goldene Farbe, große weiße Schaumkrone. Geruch zitronig hopfig, leicht grasig. Geschmack sehr hopfig, grasig bitter, Citrusfrüchte, super.

Amber with big white head. Aroma is grapefruit, sweatsocks, some peach mango. Taste is buttery with fruity sweetness and hop sourness. Long finish. Quite easy to drink. Not too heavy. Good.
