Po inspirację do Berry Licorice Jelly sięgnęliśmy do słynnych szwedzkich słodyczy. Uwarzyliśmy wytrawnego i mocno kwaśnego kettle soura, do którego dodaliśmy duże ilości puree z jagód i jeżyn oraz lukrecję, w formie batonów i naturalnego ekstraktu. Powstało kwaśne piwo z nutami owocowych żelków, jogurtu z owocami i lukrecjowym, charakterystycznym finiszem. Piwo nie zawiera laktozy.

aroma is sour and red berries, rubber, reminds me of not-so-good red lambic (they are rare) and rubbery spanish wild cider (except this is not nearly as sour). After half a minute in the glass, the berry aroma takes over from the rubbery aroma. flavor is red berries, eathy note, sour beer. flavor is quite okay for a sour fruity beer, but far from spectacular. The sourness saves the day. nearly no rubbery flavor, that was all in the aroma.

EURO box can, from Gedeelde Vreugde. Hazy red, small, foamy, pink head. Aroma of red candy ('veters' as we know them), blackcurrant, liquorice, blueberry, coulis, sugared jam, fruit tea. Taste has sweet blackcurrant, coulis & fruit candy; sourish blueberry with a lemony note, herbal liquorice accent. Tart, red-fruity finish, rather candied, bit lemony. Medium body, slick/sticky texture, soft carbonation. Nice but too artificial unfortunately.
