bottle, rated in spring 2017 - Hazy orange pour, mild citrus hop aroma. Flavor is citrusy and mild to moderately bitter. Bready malt. Decent enough but a bit below average.

12oz bottle. Unfiltered copper-orange body with lots of coagulated artificial additive stuff at the bottom. Steady attractive off-white head. Thick and yeasty, in no way a session beer. This is a bad fruit beer. Really not capturing any essence of a Session IPA. Mild distant soapy hops. Murky. Weak offering.

Very hazy golden and copper coloured body with a thin off-white head. Aroma of grape, light hops, a touch of grains and a little grapefruit and citrus. Light-bodied; Strong hoppy flavour with some grapefruit and a bit of earth and citrus, while showing some light malt and a touch of sugars. Aftertaste is mild and only malty notes really show with some mild hops and not much else. Overall, a decent and enjoyable Light IPA with some moderate citrus notes and a smooth finish. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased at Meijer in Allen Park, Michigan on 08-December-2016 for US$1,79 sampled at home in Dearborn, Michigan on 09-December-2016.

Can. Cloudy amber. Taste is full blown IPA. Fer sure this stuff is boozy. No way is it 4.6%, I’d say closer to 6. I’m no eye-pah expert, but this is thick mouth coating stuff. Feels like I’m chewing on green grapefruit rinds. Ahhhh, go figger, it says it has grapefruit in it? Whewie, right on style for an IPA, ferget dah session my friend. Since I don’t like IPA, I am not impressed. If you like IPA you better try this happy BS! It’s terribly on style.

(bottle, 35.5cl) Cloudy, orange-golden colour with a short and slightly off-white foamy head. Moderately fruity hoppy aroma with notes of citrus, grapefruit, as well as some flowery accents; honey-ish malty background. Dry and mildly bready malty taste with hoppy notes of grapefruit and a tinge of pine needles; dry, slightly mineralic and pine-spicy hoppy finish. 20.VI.16

Hazy amber with almost no head. Aroma is orange peel, with more sugars and grass. Taste is orange-y bitterness/sourness and little malty sweetness. Quite harsh bitterness. Easy to drink but the finish is sour and bitter as well. Too harsh for me. Overall still ok.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 1/20/2016. Pours slightly hazy deep orange/amber color with a 1-2 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, apricot, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, light caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/tropical/pine hops, grapefruit peel, and moderate bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, apricot, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, pine, light caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate pine/citrus rind bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, lemon/orange rind, pine, light caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/tropical/pine hops, grapefruit peel, and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero astringent hop flavors after the finish. Moderate dryness from bitterness as well. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately sticky/resinous, and lightly creamy/bready balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 4.6%. Overall this is a very nice grapefruit session IPA. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/tropical/pine hops, grapefruit peel, and moderate bready malt flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. A very enjoyable offering.
