Bottle from Erzbierschof Zurich. Pours dark reddish brown with a reddish beige head. Aroma is super dirty malty, some caramel, and then some traces of hops. Body is medium to heavy, the latter especially further back in the mouth where it mixes with bitterness and also some sweetness. Still very malty throughout. Tasty. Nice.

330ml bottle. Dark red brown pour with little head. Aroma is big resinous hops. Taste is bitter caramel with some resin and a nice tart note too. Big flavour.

Tap. Reddish-brown with tan head. Aroma is hoppy, caramel, some brown malts. Taste is sweetish malts, caramel, resinous, hints of coffee, bittersweet finish. Fine-bubbled carbonation. Not bad.
