Sunday 26th September 2021. The quest goes on tasting with Mat in Chez Sophie. Shared 33cl bottle from Beers of Europe (6%, not 8%): BB 1st February 2022. The best beer from these guys I've had so far (not difficult). Mini haze to the amber body, white topping. Nice and easy IPA with a good hop profile on a solid semi-sweet malty base.

hazy golden to orange colour, huge, dense and stable slightly yellowish ecru-like white head; aroma of marmalade, pine resiny, pineapple, celery grapefruity and biscuity notes; perfectly balanced bittersweet taste with the same notes as can be felt in the aroma; good IPA

33cl bottle from Drinks of the World, Luzern. A dull amber pour with a billowing white head; musty citrusy aroma; quite oily in the mouth, with a sweet grainy body; and some spice to finish. Disappointing.

Bottle. Hazy orange color with big white head. Aroma is old hops, sweatsocks, toasty malts. Taste is earthy, residual sweetness, sugary even, and a boozy extra flavour. Full-bodied, but from the sugar. Meh. Too sweet.

Bottle, from Coop. Tropical and almost artificially sweet, yet also incredibly bitter. Too thick hick and oily for what it offers. Solid malts, yet not balanced. Drinkable.

16.03.2016 -- 0.33l bottle from a coop in basel. pours a hazy pale amber with a medium creamy head and a nice lacing. aroma of toffee, sweet grains, a hint of fruity and floral hops. flavour of biscuit, malts, spruce. thick, oily mouthfeel, some alcohol warmth, bittersweet. not bad as an imperial lager, not quite an ipa. 25.01.2021 -- 0.33l bottle in an adventskalender. oranges, booze, oily mouthfeel. ok
