This beer is close to the Quöllfrish, because they make this beer from Appenzeller. Typical lage from the Austrian way, from the tap, ok, 10.04.2016, drinking it at Geneva.

33cl bottle as “Calvinus Blonde Bio” from Coop Supermarché Vich in Switzerland. F: medium, white, quick gone. C: pale gold, hazy. A: malty, grainy, bit bready, bit herbal, coriander touch, bit fruity. T: medium malty base, light bready, bit coriander, herbal, dry on the palate, medium carbonation, for bio version ok yet beside this nothing special at all.

Hazy pale yellow colour, medium sized dense white head; aroma of citrusy, herbal, grassy, grainy and slight coriander notes; taste of metallic, grassy, grainy-malty and slight citrusy notes; correct lager

Bottle from store in Nendaz. Pale golden with lasting laces. Hay like aroma, some pear. Taste of molasses and yeast, rather agreable but lacking body.

33 cl bottle served in white wine glass. Hazy golden pour with a clear white ephemerous head. Aroma is medium to high: roses, cardamom, porridge. Taste is light, watery, nice carb. Fresh, no bitterness. Does not linger for long. I do prefer the black one.
GVA! 🙌

33cl bottle from a Co-Op in Geneva. A plain and rather tasteless pilsner style lager. Nothing actually bad about it, but nothing good either.
