We hope you don’t get caught but once you’ve tasted this amber ale with aromas of fruity biscuit maltiness you’ll find it hard to stay away.

Can from Connolly's Wine Merchants, online. Pours a light cloudy amber, small off white head, lacing. Aroma and taste is malts, nuts, hint of spice, raisins. Sweet but a good bitterness in the finish to offset. Medium bodied, chewy, moderate carbonation. Good bitter.

440ml can from Gloucester Services (going South): BBE December 2021. Drank at my parents on 9th September 2021. Clear golden/amber body, thin white head that didn't hang around very long. Nice blend with a malty front to it's aroma and taste, hops give balance and some bitterness, but the malts are the more powerful ingredient.
