A traditional, easy drinking Yorkshire Bitter, made from all British ingredients. Pale copper in colour, this beer initially has sweet malt and honey on the palate, followed by a moderately bitter finish. The delicate hop aromas can be described as floral and spicy.
Initially brewed at Riverhead as Riverhead Butterley Bitter, since 2021 brewed at Ossett under their own brand, with the same recipe.

Pint in my local pub for the quiz night. Very lively but it was a new barrel. Good colour, smooth mouthfeel but not thr most flavour. All very acceptable but nothing special.

(Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm, 10 Oct 2025) Amber colour with foamy, tan head. Malty nose with toffee, toast, apricots and citrus. Malty taste with notes of toffee, toast, apricots, orange peel, and a balanced earthy/citric bitterness. Light body, dry. Refreshing and highly drinkable. Nice one.
