A mixed culture fermented golden sour beer, utilising two ultra-fruity strains of brettanomyces, co-fermented with our house kveik, a landrace yeast from Norway which produces intense apricot and stone fruit esters.

This beer was naturally soured during extended fermentation with a strain of lactobacillus lovingly named ‘peaches’.

Packaged completely unhopped and unfruited to let this tropical fruit bomb house culture sing.

Bottle. More or less clear, golden, small white head. Some lacing. Quite funky aroma, gentle. Vinous. Berries. Full body, some carbonation. Sour. Berries, grape, funk, generic fruityness. Lasting finish. Nice, but a bit one dimensional. 250420

Bottle shared at Ganz. Pours opaque, orangeish golden with a white head. Nose is intense lactic sourness, some rather apparent funk and fruity esters. Taste is moderately to intensely sour, showing lactic and acetic acid, funk and esters. In fact, it’s so fruity that I would’ve guessed there’re some fruits in this if I didn’t know otherwise. Closes with a funk, fruity and tart finish, has a light to medium body and soft to average carbonation. Tasty stuff.

Tap @ Væskebalancen. Hazy yellow with small white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, hop, peach and lemon. Flavour is malt, fruit, peach, citric, medium sweet, lime, lemon and a little dry.

Draught @ Væskebalancen bar Aarhus. Pours hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma of light sourness, light malt, tart fruity, grapes, pineapple, citrus. Flavor is light sweet, sour, light malt, light sweet and tart fruit, green grapes, pineapple, citrus. Medium body, average carbonation, dry and acidic finish. 010623
