Ein ausgeklügeltes Hopfenspiel! Strohgelb leuchtend mit stabilem, weißem Schaum, würzig, blumig, leicht citrusähnlich und fein-herb im Aroma. Bereits im Antrunk umspielen sehr feine Kohlensäurebläschen die Zunge, die den vollen Malzkörper sehr schlank erscheinen lassen und in ein spritziges Mundgefühl übergehen. Die trockene Bittere macht Appetit auf den nächsten Schluck.

Bottle 500ml. @ home. [ As Urban Chestnut Hallertauer Hopfenperle Lager ].ABV: 5.2%. Clear medium yellow color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity malt, moderate hoppy, grass, fruity hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, grass, fruity malt and hops, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20151231]

Pours clear yellowish with a small head. Aroma of hay, grass, earthy notes, malts and floral notes. Taste is smooth, crisp and grassy with some earthy notes, bready malts and floral notes. Finish is stingy, crisp and grassy with some hints of hay. Decent.

Euro2-Flasche: Pale golden, hazy, small white foamy layer; honeyish-grainy nose with herbal-strawy hops in the background; light to moderate sweetish-bitter flavour, light bodied; lingering honeyish-grainy - again - finish followed by spicy, but mild Saazy hops. Not the worst Helles…
