Ein ausgeklügeltes Hopfenspiel! Strohgelb leuchtend mit stabilem, weißem Schaum, würzig, blumig, leicht citrusähnlich und fein-herb im Aroma. Bereits im Antrunk umspielen sehr feine Kohlensäurebläschen die Zunge, die den vollen Malzkörper sehr schlank erscheinen lassen und in ein spritziges Mundgefühl übergehen. Die trockene Bittere macht Appetit auf den nächsten Schluck.

Bottle, courtesy of SinH4. Pours almost clear yellow with a medium head. Aroma is grass, slight hay, lemon. Body is medium, earthy, a little bit salty, with an almost aggressive lively carbonation. Sweetish, with some bitterness. Lemon, malt flavours. Light fruit on the palate too. Good.

Bottle. Slightly hazy pale golden color with white head. Aroma is grainy malts with a touch of straw at first, reminding me of a macro lager, but then there comes a lot of grassy, herbal, floral hops with some citrus character in there as well. Taste is refreshing, citrus, grassy hopspice, with a juicy malt base, a touch of honey, bread and a natural carbonation. Surprisingly chewy for such a beer. Refreshing, good, and moreish; among the best bottled Dortmunder/Helles I’ve had, but then again it is unfiltered, so maybe should count as a Zwickel.

*Bottle from Bier Freunde, Leipzig. Smooth and fresh beginning, the body has grainy hints, the hops are earthy and floral. Fresh and floral smooth aftertaste, sessionable brew.

Heller, ziemlich getreidiger Antrunk. Dabei mild süß, angenehmer runder Hopfen. Mild herb, insgesamt aber weich bleibend. Zum Ende trocken hopfig, süffig. Langer, eher milder Nachhall. Gut. 10/10/11/10/11/11

(bottle) Slightly hazy, pale golden colour with a medium-sized foamy white head. Strawy and slightly doughy malty aroma with notes of grassy, delicately citric and herbal hops. Mildly sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Strawy malty base with notes of drying grassy, herbal-spicy and subtle citric hops; sweet-bitter finish with grassy and herbal hoppy spice. Session-able Helles. 21.VIII.16

Bottle. Pale golden, light haze, brilliant white head good carbonation. Fresh grassy and light minerally aroma. Medium light grainy base, very nice aromatic, grassy/herbal and citric hop profile, chewy, pleasant on the palate. Moreish.

Flasche (50 cl) von Hopfen & Malz, Berlin. - Helles Goldgelb, leicht trüb. - In der Nase ganz milde aber appetliche Hopfennoten (Zitronenschale) und zarte, leicht bonbonartige Malzsüße. - Antrunk mild malzsüß und leicht fruchtig (Zitronentee, aber auch etwas Kaugummi, sogar Banane), schwach krautig. Durchschnittlich rezent, zart mineralisches Mundgefühl. Im Abgang immer noch Kaugummisüße und eher wäßrige, schwach grasig-zitronige Hopfenherbe. - Für eine „Hopfenperle" äußerst mild gehopft, dazu etwas plastikartig süßlich. Nicht unangenehm, auch schön süffig, aber geschmacklich nicht völlig überzeugend.

50cl bottle. Pours almost clear light golden colour with a mid-sized white head. Aroma of mild grassy hops, pale malt. Taste of mild hops, straw, pale malt, easy drinkable.
