We're not cool. Or young. Or good looking. So we can brew this old school, out of season, malty and rich barleywine. And you can drink it! Our Finest Regards has notes of juicy sultanas, maltesers, wet wood, and a hint of marzipan. It's crammed with barley!

Can from HoTM (I would guess). It pours darkest brown to black with a decent khaki head. The aroma is toasty malts, bitter - sweet, tangy, loads of jammy fruits, bramble, blackcurrant, fig, raisin, sultana, fruit cake, cola cubes, fizzy cola bottles gummy sweets, toothy, light cacao and toasty brown sugars. The dry, bitter - sweet, toothy, chewy, bright dark and dried fruits, plum, fig, bramble, blackcurrant, raisin, sultana, prune, black grape, light spice, earthy, light tannin, oak, nice boozy warmth, light caramel, cola cubes and leather with a warming, spiced finish. Fulsome and moderate, prickly carbonation. Nice depth of flavour, very fruity. Quaffable and moreish. I am impressed.

440ml can: BB Apr 2022. Drank at home on 8th May 2021. Very dark brown with a deep red hue, thin wispy head with a little lacing. Sweet maltiness and dark fruitiness abound in this strong brew. It's a sipper, not a gulper, and very nice too boot.

Can, picked up at the brewery. Deep chestnut brown, with some haze. Wisp and solid ring of lasting, beige head. Leggy and a little viscous. Nose has sweet, malt loaf like grain. Hint of roast. Touch of chocolate. Loads of dried fruit. Fig. Date. Booze steeped raisins. Touch of vanilla for good measure. Taste is sweet and vinous. Lovely hit of leafy, almost menthol bitterness. Smooth and silky mouthfeel. Drinks too easy. More of the punchy bitterness to finish. So tasty.
